Gen. 1, Chapter 6: Three's Company

*Kristine's POV*

"C'mon, child, speak! Mama? Dada? Baba?" I tried to get Celesta to talk, but all she said were noises. I was worried about her, she was already eight months old, but July and Elizabeth could say a few words that they pick up.

"Babababaaaaa," Celesta blubbered.

"At some point, I think we need to see a doctor..." I said.

Marley nodded and handed Lizzie her bottle.

"Baba! Baba!" she giggled and slurped the formula right up. Lizzie made me smile, but I had other things to get done.

I called the pediatrician and he said he could take Essie (Celesta's nickname) in at ten. The appointment lasted about an hour, and just ran some basic tests and I would get the results by phone call by the end of the week. Afterwards, I ran some errands and got home right when it was time to put the girls to bed.

After Marley went to bed, I stood up and painted during the night. I wasn't a really good painter and I hated the night silence, but I wanted to be up in case one of the triplets cried during the night.

******************

"Little steps, July. If you fall, I'll catch you!" I taught little July to walk. Slowly, I took my hands away from hers and stepped back. She stumbled over to me, but at least it was progress. I praised July and let her join Essie with playing with their toys, and Lizzie's turn for walking lessons were next. But then my phone vibrated and I answered the incoming call from the doctor.

"Hello, is this Mrs. Kristine Vilas?"

"Yes."

"We have the results back for your daughter, Celesta."

"Go on."

"Your daughter has a speech impairment. Which means she can't learn words as well for her age. I'm estimating that she won't be able to say her first word until she's 12 months. But with some therapy with a speech therapist, she'll be fine."

"Oh gosh..." I stared down at Celesta.

Gen. 1, Chapter 5: New is Better

*Kristine's POV*

The house was empty. All of the kids that were a part of my baby challenge were gone, moved out to start their own lives. What once was a house filled with noise from a happy family was dead silent. But that wasn't all. Marley and I were moving into another house on the island, big enough for a family of five. That's right- I found out earlier that I was carrying triplets, and I'm about eight or nine months into my pregnancy, and a huge baby bump stuck out of me. Marley and I drove to the new house to check it out. It's a nice home, it was pre-furnished and near the beach, perfect for when we have the babies.

After walking around, I sat down in the rocking chair in the nursery room, painted pink for the three little girls that would be born. Being pregnant with three babies has its disadvantages, though. Like the backaches and nausea, which seem to never end. But it's all worth it once the bundles of joy are delivered to your arms. Then, Marley left to work as a cook at the local diner, while I was all alone with the house and babies.

I warmed up in front of the couch, watching TV and eating ice cream and cookies, yum. But then I fell asleep for a bit, and woke to find Marley staring at me. I checked the time on my smartphone, 9 o'clock, the time he's usually home. But as I got onto my feet, I quickly found out why he was staring at me.

A sharp pain hit my stomach and there was a puddle of water smack-dab in the middle of the couch. I knew this well; I was in labor. Marley quickly threw a tarp over the couch and I nestled on the couch. After many painful hours of delivery, we welcomed our three new many girls to the world. Next was the hard part- naming them.

"How about Celesta Aphrodite Vilas for this little one?" Marley picked up one of the babies and held her close. Instantly I could recognize a beginning father-daughter bond. I nodded.

We named the second baby July Cleobelle Vilas, and the last little girl we had Elizabeth "Lizzie" Josephine Vilas. We held Celesta, July, and Elizabeth close as they fell asleep. Our family was finally complete.

Gen. 1, Chap. 4: The Honeymoon

*Kristine's POV*

"So... have you ever been to Egypt at all?" Marley finished packing his suitcase for our honeymoon to the ancient country.

"No... I haven't even been out of the country before." After we packed our bags, we left the quintuplets in charge and took the cab to the airport.

********************

After many hours, we arrived at our camp in Al Simhara. It was weird to sleep in a tent with no air conditioning, but we just had to make the best of it. I checked the notice board for some fun things to do while Marley walked around. Advertised, we saw the Great Sphinx, and traveled there quickly to explore the ancient caves.

We inspected the beginning of the tomb and found our entry way inside. Bits of dust, sand, and dirt flew into Marley and mines faces, but we just dusted ourselves off and continued until we were stopped by a fire obstacle.

Loudly, I yelped and stayed in the doorway. To say the truth, I've been afraid of fire since the early days of my 100 Baby Challenge, but Marley quickly stepped on the stone tab to put out the fires. The next room we headed in to was filled with beautiful treasures and statues.

Marley moved the statues around until two of them were on the object pads while I collected all the treasure and we headed into the next room, one with diving wells and something that looked like a clay dresser.

Marley checked in the clay thing, but there wasn't anything in there, so he dived into one of the four diving wells. I checked over the well to make sure he was okay underwater. It was all fine until he came back up with a look of utter terror on his face. Cautiously, I peered behind me, and came face to face with a mummy.

The mummy seemed somewhat peaceful, like he wasn't furious because we disturbed his tomb. He sauntered around while we went into the next room.

The next room seemed like a small dining room, with hieroglyphics and pictures of gods painted onto the chairs. Together, Marley and I continued into the next room, which had an odd cyan glow to it. We quickly learned that it was the last room, and we exited the Sphinx unharmed. We've been in that tomb for 2 and a half days, and I knew our vacation would soon end.

As we dragged ourselves into our tent, Marley pulled me into a tight embrace and started pecking at my lips.  Once we were inside the tent, I zipped up the tent while we started taking our clothes off, piece by piece until we were butt naked.

******************

I woke up the next morning, feeling crummy and slipping into a bathrobe. I didn't know why I felt so sick this morning. Quickly, I ruled out pregnancy because I haven't had a baby in years, and I knew I wouldn't have another soon. It was probably just the flu and I'd be okay. But today was the last day of our honeymoon, so we went to the market to buy some souvenirs and leave quietly.

Marley and I really didn't buy much of anything. Just a snake charming basket and a scooter. The gems and ancient coins we collected inside the Sphinx were already a great souvenir. Then, we boarded the plane back home as we said farewell to Egypt.

***********************

The plane  ride didn't really help my flu spell much. In fact, it made it worst. But I wanted to be careful to make sure I wasn't pregnant, so I locked my bathroom door to take a pregnancy test. After a few minutes of waiting, I held the test up to my face.

It had read "Positive." The feeling of joy overwhelmed me, and I ran out to show Marley.

"That's great, babe."

"You don't seem that exicted that we're gonna be parents..."

"I know. It's just that, well... I never really liked kids."

Gen. 1, Chap. 3: The Flame Never Dies

If you are 12 years old or under, please get a parent's permission before reading my blog. Thanks!

*Kristine's POV*

I picked at the food Marley bought me at the fancy restaurant in town. Tomorrow would be the day of my wedding, and I had the jitters, while his plate was already almost empty. "What's wrong, babe? Can't eat?" Marley looked up. I set down my fork.

"Just nervous." Marley leaned over the table and kissed me. I giggled, "Hope nobody say that..." My appetite came back with the kiss and I scarfed down my lobster meal  with a glass of red wine. I sat back up and wiped my face, noticing the people aside me staring and exclaiming how rude I acted. Maybe fancy restaurants aren't my type.

When Marley and I came back to the house, the septuplets, now children, mauled me down to the ground, screaming, "MOMMY'S HOME!!! YAYYYY!!!!!" The now teenage quintuplets walked up and had a good report of the septuplet's behaviour.

"KRIS! WAKE UP!" the scream came from Calista, "TODAY IS YOUR WEDDING!" I looked over at the clock, 8 am, and hour later than when I needed to wake up.
"Shit!" I rush out in my bathrobe and slippers to the kitchen and quickly scarfed down a bowl of cereal and a glass of orange juice, and we rushed to the wedding destination. Jamee did my nails and makeup while Clove and Louis got the kids dressed. The bridesmaids were on their way to the wedding destination. We left to go to the park, our wedding location, roughly around 11.

The wedding would start half an hour later, and by then, we were ready.

The music started playing, and the walk down the isle started. Little Miss Caydie was first, throwing flower pedals up in the air, really enjoying herself, followed by the bridesmaids and groomsmen walked down the aisle side by side, followed by the Maid of Honor and Best man, Ande and her dad Adam, and then my little flower girl, Caydie, and last but not least, me. Even though I didn't have anybody to walk me down the aisle, it didn't really matter to me.

"Hey, there." My ear was whispered into and I felt someone wrapping their arm around mine. Slowly, I looked beside me, and there was my brother, Mark, walking me down the isle, in a nice tuxedo and all.

"B-b-but.."

"They let me out on good behavior. And I knew I wouldn't want to miss my little sister's wedding."

I smirked as "Canon in D" played slowly as I made my way down the red carpeted aisle to Marley.

"You look nice." I whispered.

"You look nicer." Marley whispered back. I smiled. We didn't hire a priest for the wedding, so we handled the job ourselves.

"Marley," I began, "Will you have me as a wedded wife, to live together after God's ordinance in the holy estate of Matrimony? Will you love me, comfort me, honor, and keep me in sickness and through health, and forsaking all others, keep me only to you, as long as we both shall live?"

"I do. Kristine, will you have me for a wedded husband, to live after God's ordinance in the holy estate of Matrimony? Will you love me, comfort me, honor, and keep me in sickness and through health, and forsaking all others, keep me only to you, as long as we both shall live?"

"I do."
The ring bearer, Dylan, walked up holding a pillow with our rings. Marley slid the wedding ring onto my finger. "With this ring, I do wed, in the name of the father and the son, and the holy ghost. Amen."

I slid the other ring onto his finger, repeating his words. "With this ring, I do wed, in the name of the father and the son, and the holy ghost. Amen."

After a while of talking, we said our vows.

"Kristine, I've crushed on you ever since I first laid my eyes on you. I love not only you, but your beauty and care-free spirit. I promise to love you, support you, to cherish and respect you, and to hold you when you're down. No kind of force could ever tear you away from my grasp of love to you."

"Marley, even when you only were my friend, you made my life beautiful and I could never live a day without you. I will cherish us together forever and make sure the flame will never die in our marriage. Hopefully, someday we'll be one of those couples with lots of children and always seem to have time for their children and spouse. I'll love you forever and a day."

"You may now kiss the bride." I smile. I crawled into Marley's arms and we share a blissful kiss, which we wished would last forever. I got back on my feet and Marley held my hand.

"Ladies and gentlemen..." he began, "We present Mr. and Mrs. Marley Vilas!"  He raised our joined hands into the air.
**********************

The reception was beautiful, with lots of music and food, and love in the air.

"Attention, everyone," the Maid of Honor, Ande, came around, "I would like to say a few words. I've known Kristine for a while now, but only just started to get to know Marley. I remember talking one night to her about how Marley and her would make a great married couple. And look now, I was right that they would be married soon! I hope Marley and Kris have many, many great years to come!"

"Thank you," Marley's Best Man, Adam, rose, "I would like so say some things, too. Marley has always failed at romance! Too nerdy for the girls in eighth grade, and never bothered in high school! But look now, he's found a beautiful girl that cares about him!" Next, we sliced the cake.

"Careful with that knife." I warned Marley.

"Relax, Kris! I'm not a kid!" Marley took a piece and smashed it into my face. Everyone helped themselves to a piece while I lick and wash off the cake from my face. I waltzed over to the dance floor with Marley to share with our first dance. The song "A Thousand Years" by Christina Perri came on.

I took his hands and we danced slowly. I sang along softly.

"I have died every day waiting for you. Darling don't be afraid, I have loved you. For a thousand years. I'll love you for a thousand more."

Marley began singing, too.

"Time stands still, beauty in all she is. I will be brave, I will not anything take away what's standing in front of me. Every breath, every hour has come to this."

Then the audience sang, "One step closer..."

I smiled up to Marley, "I love you."

"I love you, too."

The snow glistened on the tiniest of the tree branches. The winter setting made my wedding a beautiful scene. This would be a memory that would never fade away.

Gen. 1, Chapter 2: We danced on tabletops, then we took too many shots!

If you are 12 years old or under, please get a parent's permission before reading my blog. Thanks!

*Kristine's POV*

I woke up the next morning with a pounding migraine. What happened last night? I tried to connect the dots of what happened. Oh, yea. I remember now, the bachlorette party was last night. The memories soon flooded into my mind.
***********************

I turned on the music and colored lights. The food and the building we rented out were in perfect order. It was soon bustling with people, noise, and laughter. Everyone was having a great time, and Delilah Hutchen even called in party crashers to make the party more interesting.

The scene of drunken girls dancing their asses off was quite a funny one. Chloe Moreau drunkenly sang "It's Always a Good Time" on the karaoke. Then, they started puking. Projectile puking just added gasoline to the fire of the party. Soon, we all started to pass out. One by one, our bodies dropped to the floor.
**********************

But why did I wake up in my bed? That was the only mystery that was left unsolved. Marley came up from behind and kissed my cheek.

"Morning, sweetheart." Of course he'd be the one to lay me down on the bed. Who else could it have been? I was just about to fall asleep when Marley exited the room.

"Better get some sleep, hon. Our wedding is in two days."

The door closed quietly and my eyes shot straight open like a pencil flying in the air.

"The wedding..." I breathed.

Pictures... because yeah:

Gen. 1, Chapter 1: Can You Hear the Wedding Bells Ring?

If you are 12 years old or under, please get a parent's permission before reading my blog. Thanks!

*Kristine's POV*

It was exactly a week to my wedding date, and I was in a frenzy to plan everything, and rent the park out for the day and band. Time has been flying lately, ever since Marley proposed to me that night ago. Now, the quintuplets were teenagers and the septuplets were children, and all of the other kids had moved out to live on their own. I rang up my bridesmaids and maid of honor to make sure they were all coming to the dress fitting today.

"Caydie, Dylan, would you guys like to be the flower girl and ring bearer for my wedding? And come with me to pick out your outfits for it?" The kids both gladly agreed to.

**************

Soon, we got into the car and drove to the store, meeting with all of the bridesmaids and Maid of Honor. After about an hour of browsing, we found some nice dresses to fit on. Lyric Crane handed me a dress with a beautiful crochet design and long sleeves. I tried it on, and then put on another dress, chosen by Chloe Moreau. I loved the silk on it and it was nice and big on the bottom.

I smiled, "I guess I'm gonna choose Chloe's dress. It's more fairytale-like."

Next came the Maid of Honor, Ande Langly's dress, and the bridesmaid's dresses as well. She wheeled up to the mirror, waiting for the dresses to be delivered to her.  Dawn Turner-Starr handed her a nice, white, strapless dress, with a lovely, silk ribbon tied around the waist. Next, she tried on a strapped, jewelled dress, chosen by Calista Smith-Cohen. But Ande chose the ribboned dress instead.

"Is it comfy for you?" I asked.

"Yeah." she smiled.

For the bridesmaids, I chose the same dress, but it would be pink instead of white. Next, for the flower girl, she chose a pink dress that looked like a princess's. We were all finished now, and tomorrow night would be the bachelorette party.
